The executive and advisory boards of El Toro represent seven nationalities, with a total of 134 years of accumulated experience from diverse backgrounds, creating the core value we call “prismatic mosaics.” This unique approach has driven El Toro’s internal ambition to be not only a consulting company but also an active investor, utilizing its own treasury operations and nostro funds. We are focused on identifying opportunities in various sectors, industries, and geographies that could lead to success stories. El Toro has been an active investor for some of its distinguished clientele and continues to be involved in investments related to our consulting services.
One of our core interests, managed by a specialized internal committee, is to act as an angel investor for promising business ideas and talent. El Toro is not only a direct investor in private companies but also follows an entrepreneurial code to seek opportunities in stock markets, thematic ETFs, actively managed certificates, hedge funds, and real estate projects worldwide. Our investment activities with our own funds serve as a learning curve for our future plans to become an investment house that will primarily serve both institutional and private investors based in the GCC countries. As part of El Toro’s operational growth, preparations are underway to apply for an Investment Firm License (Category 4) from the Central Bank of Bahrain. Once the license is obtained, our board plans to structure and operate “Collective Investment Undertakings” for accredited investors.
